Piet Spaans

My name is Piet Spaans, living in Gelderland, the Netherlands. On the dutch wikipedia I carry the same name. I decided to upload a lot of pictures to commons, because pictures should be watched and used. On my PC they are only of use to me. I made a lot of pictures of small vertebrates and insects. Many were taken in nature reserves in the Netherlands. So I could also photograph rare species as Coronella austriaca, Vipera berus and various dragonflies.

I hope people might appreciate the beauty of these protected and endagered animals and will be more inclined to protect the special habitats an the species that live there.

Mi nombre es Piet Spaans, vivo en Gelderland, Países Bajos. En la wikipedia holandesa llevo el mismo nombre. Decidí subir un montón de fotos a wikimedia, porque las im´genes deben ser vistas y utilizadas. En mi PC sólo son de utilidad para mí. He hecho un montón de fotos de pequeños vertebrados e insectos. Muchas fueron tomadas en reservas naturales en los Países Bajos. De manera que también pude fotografiar especies raras como Coronella austriaca, Vipera berus y diversas libélulas.

Espero que la gente aprecie la belleza de estos animales protegidos y en peligro y esté más inclinada a defender los hábitats especiales en que estas especies habitan.
